Tom Uglow: Building Digital Capacity for the Arts
The Arts Council England Building Digital Capacity for the Arts launch event took place in London on 10 March 2011, featuring a top notch panel of speakers including our very own Tom Uglow (BFA 1994-7).
The building digital capacity for the arts programme, announced in September 2010, plans to support the development of the arts sector’s media production skills by bringing together the BBC Academy’s media and digital experience with the Arts Council’s extensive knowledge of the arts sector.
The event panel included:
Chair: Will Gompertz Arts Editor, BBC News
- Sir Nicholas Kenyon Managing Director, Barbican Centre
- Alan Davey Chief Executive, Arts Council England
- Mark Thompson Director-General, BBC
- Tom Uglow Creative Lead, Google Europe, Middle East and Africa
