Introduction to Short Courses

The Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art currently offers two short courses.

Life Drawing at the Ruskin is open to students, staff and alumni of the University of Oxford.  These classes are offered on Wednesday and Thursday evenings during Michaelmas, Hilary and Trinity terms.  For further information on the tutors, the fees and dates please refer to our webpage : http://www.ruskin-sch.ox.ac.uk/courses/short_courses/life_drawing


In 2012, for the second time, we will be organising a Summer School that is open to everyone.  The Art & Anatomy Summer School will be held in the Drawing Studio at 74 High Street, OX1 4BG.  Two non-residential courses have been developed in response to the significant interest surrounding Dr Simblet’s book Anatomy for the Artist and offer a unique insight into the study of human anatomy.  The latest information on the 2012 Summer School can be found at:
