Breakfast with the Vice-Chancellor
Following the US launch for the Ruskin School Alumni Society at Simon Preston Gallery, New York, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andrew Hamilton, joined Ruskin staff, alumni and arts professionals for breakfast at the National, New York.
Professor Hamilton was warmly welcomed and introduced to the work of the School, including the successful Professional Practice Programme for second year undergraduates, the alumni and the newly launched alumni programme and some visions for the future. Those present included Professor Brian Catling and Sarah Wilkinson from the Ruskin staff; Dan Fox, Senior Editor, Frieze Magazine, Michael Stanley, Director, Modern Art Oxford - (both alumni and members of the Ruskin Star Chamber) and William Tucker RA, Sculptor - alumnus representing the GI Bill students; RoseLee Goldberg, Director, Performa, NYC (Professional Practice Programme partner) and Chrissie Iles, Curator, Whitney Museum for American Art (former Head of Exhibitions, Modern Art Oxford).
