RA Object of the Month
Sarah Simblet’s, Study after Anthony van Dyck’s ‘The Brazen Serpent’, has been selected as the RA Object of the Month.
The study features in the exhibition Driven to Draw: Twentieth-century Drawing and Sketchbooks from the Royal Academy’s Collection, until February 2012.
Sarah created this work as part of a series of drawings made in the Prado during her visit to Spain in 1994 upon receipt of the Richard Ford Award.
