Humanitas Visiting Professorships in Contemporary Art and Museums, Galleries & Libraries

The Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art co-organises with the Humanities Division an annual series of Visiting Professorships, which bring world-leading practitioners and scholars to the University of Oxford to address major themes in the arts.

Created by Lord Weidenfeld, the Humanitas Programme is managed and funded by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue with the support of a series of generous benefactors and collaborators, including Ivorypress and Foster + Partners.

The Visiting Professors are appointed for a given academic year and deliver a series of lectures and workshops and contribute to a cross-disciplinary symposium.  For more information on the range of events and Visiting Professors who will be coming to Oxford, please see the webpages on the Humanities Division’s website: http://www.humanities.ox.ac.uk/events/humanitas
